about the site
This website is an attempt at a way to openly post to the website regarding the #occupyflagstaff campaign. Our hope is that there are no leaders, so anyone is welcome to post here. The only thing I reserve the right to do is remove posts (to the extent that I can control it) that are spam, completely off-topic, or intentionally antagonistic. I have no control over content provided by twitter, google, facebook, or YouTube. If something is objectionable in their generated content, I do urge you to take it up with the content provider.
One of the things they say all the time at the #occupywallstreet protest is "this is just practice." So to begin with, as I practice how to add the rest of the public functionality, the site will show the content generated by #occupywallstreet so we can all learn from them before we start practicing. You will find the front page of the website currently has auto-updated feeds from #occupywallstreet on twitter, google news feed, and youTube. It additionally contains an embed of the live feed of #occupywallstreet found at livestream.com.
Once I have finished the open posting feature, the site will be able to self-propel without a gatekeeper except to keep the site code functional and spammers and hackers away. You will be able to tweet to the #occupyflagstaff hashstream, add a youTube video, add a facebook photo album, submit a link for the news feed, or create your own news story/update.
Privacy Policy - I can assure you that unless you know what you are doing, then your access to this site is recorded somewhere. The server logs all ip's and the time of their visit. I cannot control that on a shared hosting account. I do not actively engage in gathering any information about you except what you may put into your posts. You are all responsible for your own words, videos, postings, pictures, tweets, etc. The internet should not give anyone a reason to stop being respectful of each other. In that, if there is any data maintained by this website, it is public and openly posted. I am not trying to record who you are, but I am fairly certain a trail is left that would not require my approval for law enforcement to access. That is, unless you know what you are doing.
Thank You,
WageSl@vez Media
PS, if a human microphone* should order me to hand the codes for this site to someone else, I will smile while I do it.
* You can watch one on the livestream of the #occupywallstreet page.
